We’re Growing! Meet Your Gypsy Nurse Ambassador’s In Training!
Announcement!! The Gypsy Nurse Ambassador Program has been a huge success! I would like to thank all of our current Ambassadors for their time and dedication to helping the community stay strong and grow. Due to our community growth, we are initiating a new Ambassador In Training Program! The Gypsy Nurse Ambassador’s are charged with promoting and fostering Meet & Greets, Events, Caravan Trips, Support and other gypsy nurse activities throughout the US. The Ambassador’s in Training will pair with one of our current Ambassadors and continue to provide exciting events and activities for the Gypsy Nurse Community. Meet Your New Gypsy Nurse Ambassadors in Training! Lori Mercer, RN Lori has been a RN for 10+ years. She has always worked in Emergency Department. She reports that “I have a wonderful husband Jesse and 2 wonderful kids Clayton 17 and Samantha 14, who stay at home in Ohio while I travel.” Lori is very active with spending time with her kids doing there extracurricular activities and with the local Boy Scout Program in Ohio. She is on her second assignment as a travel RN and cannot imagine going back to a staff nurse. When asked why she wanted to be a Gypsy Nurse Ambassador, Lori states that “I hope to encourage other nurses and to make an impression on dreamers that you can travel with or without your family. It’s time for another contest. Travel Nurses – How do you celebrate the Holidays? Please submit your photo below and show us how you celebrate the holidays when working away from home as a Travel Nurse I will randomly draw a name from the submissions and the winner will receive this (or similar) bag from 31 Products (prize provided by Stacy Allender**). If you would like to be included in the contest (winner will be chosen in a random drawing), please submit a photo of your Holiday away from home.
