After Labor Day, OSHA intends to convene a Small Business Advocacy Review (SBAR) panel under the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act (SBREFA) for its Infectious Diseases rule. OSHA’s rule could impact any facilities that provide direct patient care or engage in other tasks where an employee potentially could be exposed to an infectious disease or agent. OSHA is seeking participation from small entity representatives (employers, not employees) from the regulated industry.
